Mach Error 49153 - (OS/Unix) No Rights to Object During Activation

During product activation on an Apple Silicon device you encounter the following error:

The operation couldn't be completed. (Mach error 49153 - (os/unix) no rights to object)

Solution 1

Please check if you are not running the app (go to Applications folder) with Rosetta, if so please turn such option off:

Then repeat the activation.

Solution 2

From our experience, this issue is also sometimes resolved by clean reinstall:

1. Uninstall
2. Reboot
3. Reinstall
4. Reboot and check if resolved.
